What is Invaluable.com? Recently referred to as one of the world’s fastest growing e-commerce sites, Invaluable is a leading online auction platform for antiques, art and collectables. Kerleys have partnered up with Invaluable to provide our customers a live auction experience from the comfort of your own home.
Step by step details on how to bid online
To bid online, buyers must first register their details through the Invaluable website. To do so, please click here or visit www.invaluable.com. There are no fees or charges to register, it is as simple as creating an Email & Password.
Once registered with Invaluable, you can search “Kerleys Auctions” in the search bar or click here to find us. We also suggest clicking on the “FOLLOW SELLER” button on our account… this way you will receive notifications when our auctions & catalogues are published.
When you have found Kerleys, to bid on our auctions you must register by clicking on the “REGISTER TO BID” button. We’ll then manually approve you and you’re on your way to bidding! For returning customers, Kerleys may automatically have you approved for all future auctions so that you don’t have to go through step 3 each time.
On auction day, click on the red “ENTER LIVE AUCTION” button and it’s as simple as that. You are now viewing the live auction and are free to bid on any lot/s that interests you.
Things to know about Invaluable.com
Invaluable charge buyers an extra 5% commission on-top of the 20% buyers premium at Kerleys. This means that online buyers have a Total Premium of 25% when successful through Invaluable. Kerleys collect the extra 5% premium and remit it to Invaluable after auction - this additional premium is not withheld by Kerleys.
When leaving pre-bids online, Invaluable will use your maximum bid as a capped threshold and will attempt to win the lot on your behalf for the lowest amount possible. This means that often you may win a lot for less than what you have bid.
You may enter our online auctions at any time during the live auction. You may even enter and watch the live auction taking place if you do not plan on bidding.
All online bidders are confidential at all times. Your personal information or name are never shown for others to see.
When you have finished bidding, you can go to the “MY INVALUABLE” dashboard and click on “PURCHASES’ to view all the lots you have won. Invoices will be sent out by Kerleys on the day following auction.
If you require postage or delivery, please contact Kerleys for a quote. Please note: If the postage/delivery price is a factor in your budget, you should contact us for a quote prior to bidding. There are no refunds or change of mind policies in effect if the postage charge exceeds your budget.
